Very pleasantly surprised. The food is delicious and the ambiance is very elegant. The service was outstanding & our waiter was very attentive. I highly recommend this place when you want an upscale vibe.
The menu is a carefully curated collection of both classic and modern interpretations of Greek cuisine, each dish crafted with exceptional attention to detail--all plated perfectly. The grilled branzino is a standout. The Saganaki, flaming hot and golden-brown, is the perfect way to start any meal (amazingly crispy on the outside). What truly elevates the experience is the impeccable service. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly gracious, offering helpful wine pairings and guiding you through the menu with enthusiasm. The staff works together seamlessly--from table to kitchen, you get to meet multiple waiters. They're eager to make sure every aspect of your meal is perfect, from the first glass of wine to the last bite of dessert. Notes: Great happy hour! Dress to impress.
Fresh ingredients, phenomenal attention to detail, and an inviting staff are a few reasons Xenia is - and I don't say this lightly - the best Greek food I've had. The fried calamari is seasoned and battered perfectly. The squid rings are thick and tender. The classic chicken Soulvaki is elevated with fresh cucumber, tomatoes, feta and perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken (chef's kiss). Even the French fries are simply amazing... double fried crunch and the perfect potato flavor. I highly recommend all of it. Just try the entire menu (treat yourself)... cheers!
Had a great dinner- we started off with flaming saganaki which is always fun and tasty! I had the moussaka which was fabulous - it looked big but I ate it all it was so good- the vodka pasta was very good but not that filling given the price - but my son said he was full afterward. Crab cake is very pricey but generous portion and comes with fries. I forgot to take pics but we finished with chocolate lava cake which was superb and decadent. Also had olive oil cake which was delicious too but did not compare to the lava cake. Service was great and attentive - ambiance is great - great for special occasions but it does get loud
Xenia Greek Kouzina is a restaurant I've visited several times, and while my experiences have been a mix of highs and lows, the overall impression is positive. This is a place where certain dishes shine brightly, while others leave you wanting a bit more. Starting with the appetizers, the zucchini chips are a true delight--thin, crispy, and bursting with flavor. They're a must-try. The fried calamari, while enjoyable, didn't particularly stand out. It met expectations but didn't exceed them. The Xenia spread was a great choice for sharing, allowing everyone at the table to sample a variety of their dips and spreads. The grape leaves were good, but I wasn't a big fan of the creamy avgolemono sauce that accompanied them. The grilled octopus, or "Xtapodi," was a dish I had high hopes for, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. While the spices, capers, and red wine vinegar paired with the split pea puree were well-executed, the octopus itself was a bit too rubbery, which took away from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Similarly, the chicken lemon soup, or "Avgolemono," didn't quite justify its price tag--it was pleasant but nothing extraordinary. When it comes to the land dishes, the Lamb Shank "Arni Giouvetsi" was outstanding--a large, succulent piece of lamb that was perfectly cooked, falling off the bone, and rich with flavor. The orzo and vegetables served alongside it complemented the dish wonderfully. The Bolognese "Pappardelle me kima" was decent, but not particularly memorable, while the lobster ravioli "Raviolia astakos" was good but slightly disappointing in terms of the amount of lobster, especially considering the price. The true star of the evening was the Sesame Ahi Tuna with broccoli and honey dipping sauce. This dish was absolutely phenomenal--one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. The tuna was tender and flavorful, melting in your mouth, and the honey dipping sauce was the perfect accompaniment. If you're a fan of fish, this dish is an absolute must-try. For dessert, the olive oil cake stood out as being deliciously moist and full of flavor. The Loukoumades were also a hit, rich with buttery goodness. The Baklava, while heavy on the pistachios and filling, was a bit light on the dough, which I found to be a slight drawback. The ambiance at Xenia is beautiful, with a stylish interior that perfectly captures the essence of a modern Greek dining experience. The blue lighting mixes beautifully with the white marble decor, creating a visually appealing atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the display of fresh fish in the middle of the restaurant--it was a nice touch that added to the overall experience. The staff has always been friendly, polite, and attentive, which only enhances the dining experience. In conclusion, while not every dish at Xenia Greek Kouzina hit the mark, the ones that did were truly exceptional, making it a restaurant I would definitely recommend, especially for those standout dishes.
Had lunch here with some friends and we ordered a bunch of appetizers which were all awesome! The only exception were the truffle fries . Although they were good, I couldn't discern the truffle taste The grilled octopus was exceptional, the fried calamari yummy . The flaming cheese was a show stopper! Our server did a good job ! He was also very attentive. All of us ordered the chicken souvlaki. Huge servings! Good taste but I've had better. I think the seasonings didn't quite marinate into the meat. Nice looking restaurant, it's very roomy inside so perfect for intimate dinners...maybe next time!
I heard about this place via Yelp. I came here for Happy Hour (until 7pm) Let me start by saying this is probaly the most upscale restaurant in the area, come dressed nice. Food . Portions were small but very good. I would come back for a special event
I really enjoyed my dining experience here at Xenia. Lovely interior and lighting. The marble and blue lighting sets the tone for an enjoyable time. The live piano was a nice touch. I was in the mood for a cocktail and tried the Xenia Royale - it's sweet with with a sour kick from the lime and rosé. The pita with oil and olives came out at a great time and was a perfect accompaniment to my meal. The mussel appetizer was great. The white wine tomato broth was delicious. The bread was toasted just right. Although there are mixed reviews, for my entree I decided to try my luck with the crab cake and was pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of lump crab meat and a nice flavor. All deserts are made in house. The citrus olive oil cake could've been a bit more moist but was a tasty choice for dessert, the citrus flavor was like a palate cleanser. Ray was great - she was busy working the entire bar but was still attentive and pleasant to talk to. Although I came with an idea of what I wanted to try, I appreciated her supportive recommendations. It was also cool chatting with the owner. It was nice that he was open to hear my praise about my experience. I recommend for dates, solo dining, groups... pretty much any situation where you want a nice, elegant ambiance and delicious mediterranean and seafood dishes. I look forward to coming back.
Food + service + ambience = happy LaKisha. My friend recommended we check out this restaurant while we're in the area. I'm so glad she did. It was such a good time! We had the best service, server and delicious food. One thing about my friends and I is that we are going to eat good ok?! Our server Mayra was awesome. She was full of energy, accommodating and gave great recommendations. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some good life lessons for f r e e, lol. We received complimentary pita bread that came with olives and oil. For appetizers, we ordered the mussels "Midia", and lamb ribs "Arnisia Plevrakia". I ordered the stuffed brozino and lemon potatoes. When I say fresh and flavorful...it was as if I was back in Greece. For my drink, I ordered the Xenia Kolada. It was sooo good. I think I drank it a little too fast. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. It is very spacious and has outdoor seating. I can tell that this place is popular and probably even better during the summer. I could see my friends and I making this restaurant our monthly meetup.
